This message is built around Amos 5:4–6, where God warns Israel: "Seek Me and live; but do not seek Bethel, nor enter Gilgal, nor pass over to Beersheba." Any historic, sacred locations can easily devolve into empty religious traditions if the hearts of the people turn away from a personal, genuine relationship with God.
